Why We Started Detailing Academy Scotland

Running ACC Valeting & Detailing, we're on the road, in the unit, and under bonnets every single day. Over time, we noticed the same conversation coming up again and again — people asking how we got the finish we did, whether we could teach them, or how they might start a detailing business of their own.

That question kept coming often enough that we decided to do something about it, and Detailing Academy Scotland was born.

Rather than a generic course taught in a classroom, we wanted training that reflected exactly how we work - hands-on, on real vehicles, in a real working studio, taught by the same people who detail cars for our customers every day. No sacrificial cars, no theory-only sessions, no guesswork.

Whether it's an enthusiast wanting sharper results at home, someone thinking about starting their own detailing business, or an existing detailer wanting to refine their technique, we built a course path for each of them.

It's been a genuinely rewarding project to bring to life alongside the day-to-day running of ACC, and we're proud to now have it open and welcoming its first trainees.
